In 2017 I was contacted by Arnold Worldwide to create some truly bespoke and beautiful internal awards. I felt exceptionally humbled that I was asked to concept and design these, and even more so to actually deliver them as an entire project. From developing the concept in Fusion360 to 3D printing proof of concept models to getting them produced as final pieces was an exciting journey.
These awards were inspired by Japanese puzzles, where every angle was different one another. All made from solid American woods, American Cherry, American black walnut and American Maple. With integrated magnetic alignment guides they can be reconfigured into differently viewing angles.
